Xombie Drops Single “Might As Well” From New Album

The first thing I saw when I went to listen to NYC based group Xombie’s new single “Might As Well” was the play count was stuck on 666 with 66 likes. Coincidence much? I don’t know exactly, but I do know Xombie’s new single hits you like a tidal wave from the opening seconds. Thrashing guitars and drums kick off the lead single with Atom Cruz screaming his way to the front. With an almost double time flow, Atom goes crazy on the drums. As if his thoughts are pouring off of his mind faster than he can handle, Cruz runs through the verses until he catches his break on the chorus daring the listeners to “drag him to hell.” Comparing himself to Kurt Cobain in the second verse, Cruz slips in a slick Iron Maiden simile if you’re listening close enough. With a catchy call and response bridge, I can see “Might As Well” being a live show destroyer with more energy than 24-case of Redbull. Be on the look-out of Xombie’s new album Super Cell dropping soon. For fans of Rage Against the Machine, (Hed)PE, Body Count, Korn, Otep, Metallica, and more.
