Chicago artist Jay Hunna drops the soulful new song and video for Good Ol Music. Running through his influences Jay shouts out 2pac, Jay-Z, Scarface and many of the people that helped him make it through his youth. The first single of Jay’s new album Better Days dropping September 5th, “Good Ol Music” definitely sets the tone sonically for the rest of the project. The inspiration for Jay Hunna’s debut album “Better Days” comes from the tragic death of his cousin Sandra Bland which sparked national attention in July of 2015. As many know Sandra was found dead in her cell after being stopped and detained for a missing tail light. Becoming a vital part of the Black Live Movement, Sandra Bland herself closes out Hunna’s new album on the track entitled “Land Of The Free.” With a unique approach, old soul Jay Hunna is definitely a new artist to lookout for.
